About Y-SNP Haplogroup Hierarchy Finder

With the application of massively parallel sequencing (MPS), more Y-SNP markers can be genotyped simultaneously in a single test. This greatly increased the resolution of Y-SNP haplogrouping and haplotyping.

In order to assess the feasibility of the haplogrouping and haplotyping from a great number of Y-SNP using whole genome sequencing (WGS) data, we have detected 92,698 Y-SNP markers selected from ISOGG and we have developed an app for our users to perform Y-SNP haplogrouping and haplotyping on them from whole genome sequencing data.

Y-SNP Haplogroup Hierarchy Finder supports batch search. Please go to Search Tool for detail instructions.
